Patrick Blackburn was in charge of ``kicking the ball,'' during
the first day of HyLo 2000.
And he did, in full 100% Blackburn style. I.e., diving full steam
into what are hybrid languages, why are they interesting, and how
do they work.
Maarten Marx took the post after Patrick, and explained everything
you always wanted to know about the complexity of hybrid languages
but were afraid to ask.
